Joséphine Thouvenin

Josie qualified as a veterinary surgeon from University of Bristol in 2019. She worked in small animal practices in Switzerland and Bristol before joining Avon Lodge Vets in August 2023. She enjoys all aspects of first opinion work but has a special interest for internal medicine. 

Outside of work Josie spends a lot of time caring for her elderly mare, Pearl. They enjoy hacking and taking in the beautiful views of the Mendips. She also has two cats, Charlie and Pipa, who are inseparable and very playful.
