Rebecca Martin

Beck joined the Avon Lodge team as the Lead Veterinary Surgeon in Feb 2024. Previously Beck has worked at the Bristol RSPCA and as both assistant Vet then Clinical Director at a veterinary centre in Weston Super Mare.

Beck prides herself on being a general practitioner with an interest in ophthalmology as well as recently attaining a certificate in small animal internal medicine. She also enjoys soft tissue surgery.

Beck's favourite part of the job is building a trust and rapport with both clients and patients. At Avon Lodge, Beck is happy to be part of a veterinary team well established and trusted in the local community.

Away from work, Beck is usually outside walking/running/cycling (preferably in the sunshine) or inside at the gym, swinging a kettle bell. She also enjoys cooking and sampling the Bristol food scene on a regular basis. More recently her time has been taken up trying to train her border terrier x poodle puppy Atti.
