We are now, as of March 25th, seeing only urgent and emergency situation patients. We will endeavour to update our Facebook page frequently, and to call clients with pre-booked appointments if we need to cancel their appointment.

Friday 2th March  - Appointments only 4pm - 6pm

From w/c 30/03  - Monday, Wednesday and Friday - Appointment only surgeries from 3.30pm - 6pm for urgent cases and collecting medication only. Please call the Wells Road surgery to make an appointment at the most appropriate surgery depending on your pet's situation. 0117 977 3230. 

Wells Road Surgery Opening - Open Monday to Friday only 8.30am to 6pm from 25/03 onwards.. but providing a service for urgent cases and collection medication only. Please call 0117 977 3230 to make an appointment. 

Out-of-Hours - Our partners at Vets Now located on Zetland Road in Redland will provide an emergency service for your pet from 6pm every evening until 8.30am the next day and 6pm on Fridays until 8.30am on Mondays. Call 0117 239 3121 for advice in the first instance. 

Emergencies - Please rest assured if Avon Lodge is not open, the hospital practices in Bristol - Zetland Vets (Vets Now out-of-hours in the  same building) in Redland, Rowe in Bradley Stoke and Highcroft on Wells Road Whitchurch, will be offering an emergency service. There will always be somewere for your pets to go in an urgent or emergency situation. Other conditions such as itchy skin, operations for non-urgent reasons, new kitten and puppy checks and many others will need to wait until this pandemic is under control. While your puppy cannot be vaccinated please keep it indoors. While we cannot neuter your pet, please don't let it outside unaccompanied allowing it to mate and possibly resulting in unwanted puppies or kittens in months to come.
